Women in Packaging (WIP UK) was delighted to host a breakfast networking meeting on behalf of WIP UK as part of the technology-focused EskoWorld event held in Nashville, TN.
Jointly co-hosted by Danielle Sauvé, VP of Marketing at Esko and Jo Stephenson, co-founder of WIP UK, the meeting was a great opportunity for attendees to share ideas and best practice internationally, learning from on-the-ground experience in both markets. While WIP UK focuses on the UK print and packaging landscape, many of the industry challenges that predominantly affect women are universal, therefore an opportunity to discuss the current state-of-play internationally is invaluable.
WIP UK believes that networking, sharing success and offering support structures are key to raising the profile of women in the industry, and regularly host events and meetings to facilitate this, enabling discussion, sharing experience and generating solutions.
EskoWorld is the industry’s leading technology-focused event; now in its 28th year. Showcasing the latest in print and packaging supply chain developments, the show attracts visitors from around the world across three days. The show is presented by Esko, a global provider of integrated software solutions that digitise, automate and connect the go-to-market process of consumer goods.
WIP UK supports the growth of women in the industry, offering a chance to meet like-minded women who face similar challenges and learn best practice from each other. Believing in the importance of strong support networks, WIP UK also co-ordinates a comprehensive mentoring scheme for newcomers to the industry, ensuring they have role models of their own.
As a free-to-join initiative, WIP UK welcomes women from every stage of the print and packaging supply chain and celebrates success, diversity and achievement. To find out more about joining Women In Packaging, visit our membership page or contact email@example.com.
